A Brief History

Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is a state higher education institution to print human resources in the field of education and non-education. In the field of education, UNDIKSHA a human resource printer greatest educators in Bali. Until now UNDIKSHA has produced more than thirty-three thousand graduates who are mostly educators. UNDIKSHA history begins from Course B-1 for the Indonesian Teachers menyedianan 1955 and Master of Commerce in 1957 for the high school level. In 1962 the two types of chair sus merged into the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (Guidance and Counseling) Airlangga University. In the same year FKIP join Udayana University, and in 1963 became part of the unfortunate Teachers' Training College Singaraja branch. In 1968, FKIP made two faculties, the Faculty of Teacher Training and the Faculty of Education, again became part of the University of Udayana. In 1981, Dentistry and FIP merged into FKIP Udayana University. In 1993, FKIP separated by unud be STKIP Singaraja, and in 2001 became the State Teachers' Training College Singaraja. Long process that was shot puh both types of courses eventually become UNDIKSHA, after Singaraja Teachers' Training College changed its status to the University of Education Gane- sha (UNDIKSHA) by Presidential Decree No-mor: 11/2006, dated May 11, 2006.

Aug 1962 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (Guidance and Counseling) joined the University of Udayana
1963 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (Guidance and Counseling) to be part of Malang Teachers' Training College Branch Singaraja
1968 FKIP into the Faculty of Teacher Training (FKG) and the Faculty of Education (FIP) back to be part of Udayana University
FIP in 1981 FKG and merged into the Faculty of Education (Guidance and Counseling) Udayana University
1993 FKIP be separated by Unud Iinggi school Teaching and Education (STKIP) Singaraja
2001 STKIP Singaraja be Ruan usefulness Institute and State Education Singaraja
2006 State Teacher Training Institute Education Singaraja be Univeritas Ganesha (UNDIKSHA)
